Our church is getting a porch facelift. Our old porch was rotten and one of our columns was in a precarious state, so funds were made available to repair the porch and steps. In order to retain our historical place status, materials closely approximating the original materials are to be used. This means that the new porch and steps will be constructed from specially milled and double-dried longleaf pine.
During the repair process, it was noted that one of our columns had rotted at the bottom and detached at the top. This will also be repaired.

We are looking forward to our church being the best it can be for our 275th anniversary, which will happen next year.
